DIAKONIA 2009–the Blog

Do you serve the Lord as a deaconess, deacon, or diaconal minister? If so, then you’ve come to the right place. In this blog I hope to hear from anyone who serves in a diaconal ministry and may attend the Diakonia World Federation’s 2009 World Assembly in Atlanta, Georgia, July 20-27, 2009.

I am a member of the planning committee and I chair the communications sub-committee. However, I have never attended a world assembly, so I’m counting on hearing from folks who have or to make new friends whom I will meet face to face in Atlanta.
